Book a listener

Sometimes people don't need therapy.

Sometimes they simply need someone who will listen without judgement. No diagnosis. No homework. No advice unless you ask for it.

Anonymous if you want

No real name, no camera, no record on your account. Some people never tell us who they are, and that is completely fine.

Audio, video or chat

Whichever is least frightening. Most first-timers choose audio, and a lot of them stay with it.

Fifty minutes, yours

You can talk the whole time or sit in silence. Both are a legitimate use of the session.

The difference

Listener or therapist?

Both are valid. This is the honest comparison.

Not sure? Start with a listener. They will tell you honestly if what you are describing sounds like something a therapist should hear.

Our listeners

What a listener will and won't do

They will

  • Listen without interrupting or fixing
  • Reflect back what they hear
  • Sit with you in silence if that is what you need
  • Tell you honestly if something sounds like it needs a therapist
  • Keep everything you say confidential

They won't

  • Diagnose you or discuss medication
  • Give advice unless you specifically ask
  • Judge what you tell them
  • Continue if you are in immediate danger โ€” they will help you reach emergency support instead
  • Contact you outside the session
